Refund Policy

Areel is a digital subscription service that delivers clip sets to your account. This page explains how cancellation works, when refunds apply, and how to request one.

1. Cancelling your subscription

  • You can cancel at any time from your dashboard (Manage subscription) — no emails or phone calls required.
  • Cancellation stops all future charges.
  • Your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, unless stated otherwise at the time of cancellation. After that, your account simply returns to the free (non-subscribed) state.

2. Refunds

Because Areel delivers digital content from the moment your plan is active, payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. That said, we review refund requests case by case and aim to be fair — for example where you were charged in error, experienced a fault on our side that prevented you from using the service, or contacted us promptly after an unintended renewal.

Where a refund is approved, it is returned to the original payment method via our payment provider. Processing times depend on the provider and your bank.

3. How to request a refund

  • Email support@areel.io from the email address on your Areel account.
  • Include the approximate date of the charge and a short description of the issue.
  • We aim to respond to refund requests within a few business days.

4. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law. Where local law grants you mandatory cancellation or refund rights, those rights apply in full.
