Terms of Service

Areel provides subscribers with daily, system-assigned sets of short video clips from a curated library, assembled into a ready-to-edit video and a bundle of the underlying clips. The clip selection is automated; plan tiers differ in the number of clips delivered per day. Features may evolve over time as we improve the product.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your sign-in credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• Accounts are for a single user; sharing or reselling account access is not permitted.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Areel.

• Areel is a paid subscription service. Plans, allowances, and prices are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not see or store your card details.
• Paid access is confirmed by the payment provider's notification to our systems (for example a payment webhook). Access is activated once a payment is verified.
• Subscriptions renew per the billing cycle selected at checkout until cancelled.
• Prices may change; changes apply from your next billing cycle and will be reflected on the pricing page before they affect you.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, unless stated otherwise. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

Areel runs a referral program in which approved creators share referral links and codes. Applying a creator's code links your subscription to that creator; when a referral discount is active it is applied automatically at checkout by our systems — codes never change your plan or billing without a checkout you complete. Referral attribution and any discount are subject to eligibility checks (for example, self-referrals are not allowed). Participation as a creator is governed by the separate Creator Partner Program terms. See our Privacy Policy for what referral data we process.

• The Areel clip library, software, and brand are and remain the property of Areel or its licensors.
• While your subscription is active, we grant you a non-exclusive licence to use the clip sets delivered to your account in the videos and content you create and publish.
• You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or make the raw clip library (or substantial parts of it) available to others as a library or dataset.
• You own the original content you create using the delivered material, subject to the licence above.

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful;
• attempt to bypass plan limits, quotas, or payment;
• scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract the clip library outside the product's intended delivery flow;
• probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or its security;
• misrepresent your identity or impersonate others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.

We work to keep Areel reliable, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. Scheduled maintenance and factors outside our control (including third-party providers) can affect availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: Areel disclaims all implied warranties, and our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

You may stop using Areel and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or where required to protect the service or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as content licence limits and liability limits) survive termination.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date, and where changes are significant we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
